A little about the artist…
Donnae Bell started creating once she realized that pencils were for more than just chewing on. When she mastered clutching a pencil in her chubby little fingers it was the beginning of a life-long exploration in expressing & exploring her creativity.
Donnae has delighted in exploring a multitude of mediums including metal, paper mache, cross stitching, photography and pen & ink. But when she first touched mud, she felt like she had come home. That was 13 years ago and she has built on her talent with courses and knowledge created by years of literally getting her hands dirty.
Though she lives in Vancouver, B.C., Donnae enjoys sharing a studio with fellow artist, Kerry McLaren in Maple Ridge.
Donnae is also an avid traveller, balcony gardener, reader and a budding writer. She feels blessed and inspired every day by the natural beauty that surrounds her.
